Keli Freeman was born and raised in Northeastern Oklahoma (please reserve your judgment).
After graduating from high school, she wandered aimlessly with no hope until Bill Kurtis came to her in a dream and told her to be a TV news producer.
Taken with his magical voice, she went to school and earned her degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
She took her first job in TV news back in her home state of Oklahoma (again, please reserve your judgment) before joining KRIS 6 News in 2020.
When not fulfilling her duties as an Executive Producer, she enjoys spending time with her cranky cat or telling people about her cranky cat.
