Julia is the KRIS 6 Weekend Meteorologist. She joins the Weather Team from Maryland where she was born and raised. Julia is a graduate of Salisbury University with a degree in Atmospheric Science and Broadcast Journalism.
Previously she worked at NBC News Washington as the assistant to the Bureau Chief and Deputy Bureau Chief.
She was bitten by the weather bug at 5 years old and that passion has stuck with her ever since. Julia is excited to learn about the Coastal Bend and serve the community.
When she's not forecasting, Julia enjoys reading, binge watching K-dramas and listening to music.
