It has been nine days since anyone has seen missing Ft. Hood soldier 20-year-old Vanessa Guillen.

So far only her car keys, barrack room keys, identification card, and wallet has been found in the armory room where she was working earlier that day.

“I know she is gonna be with us soon I can feel it. I know that if people have hope it gives me hope," said Vanessa's sister, Mayra Guillen.

The last time Mayra Guillen heard from her sister was when they texted each other.

“She was showing me some shoes she wanted to buy. We were talking about cars, because her birthday it would be September 30th and she was really excited into purchasing a new vehicle for the first time on her own," said Mayra Guillen.

Family and friends drove up from Houston to join in on the search. They gathered at Fort Hood to hold up signs and hand out fliers.

“It is not normal that we do not know much after this week and we are really worried about her,” said friend Frida Hernandez.

“Its not normal for her to just vanish like that. We want to know whats going on. We want to know if she is okay," said Anhi Rodreguez.

While the search continues, friends and family ask others to continue spreading the word and help bring Vanessa Guillen home.

Friends and family who gathered are also searching the lakes around Bell County.

If you know any information, investigators ask you to contact the Army C-I-D Special Agents or the Military Police Desk.
