CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — Corpus Christi Animal Care Services is hoping that if you decide to add a pet to your family, you will consider adoption. A good candidate might even be our Pet of the Week!
Her name is Lucy and she is 3 years old. Although she came in as a stray, Lucy is impressive looking, showing every bit of her American Pit Bull Terrier mix.
On top of that, Lucy’s friendly nature and easy personality make her a good bet to get along well with any other pets that may already be living in the home. As a more mature dog, she is still playful, and yet subdued enough to make her transition into a new family a smooth one. Be sure to check out the video of her playing with fellow CCACS resident, Luko, on the CCACS Facebook page: www.facebook.com/corpuschristianimalcareservices.
This Saturday, CCACS is hosting an adoption and foster event called ‘Coffee & Kisses.’ It will take place during normal business hours and will feature several dogs who have been sponsored so that their adoption fees are covered.
CCACS is located at 2626 Holly Road and is open from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. each afternoon, including weekends. To reach them by phone, call (361) 826-4630.
You can also go to www.PetHarbor.com where you will find pictures and information on many of the animals who are waiting to be adopted from CCACS.
