CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The 35th Annual polka-fest is wrapped up today in Corpus Christi.

The 'Czech Heritage Society of South Texas' hosts the event every year.

It celebrates Czech culture and it remembers the people who came to Texas for a better life.

Music is the festival's biggest draw.

"This is just a continuation of it and it's on a smaller scale but we enjoy putting these things on and having the public out to participate in it, and learn a little bit about our culture." said Micheal Urbanovsky, president of the South Texas Heritage Society of South Texas.

All of the money raised at today's festival goes to the Czech society.
