State and federal officials join forces to assist veterans with their benefits.
A free benefits fair for Texas veterans was held this morning at the Corpus Christi VA Outpatient Clinic. It was open to all area veterans, military members, and their families.
Officials from the Texas Veterans Land Board (VLB) were on hand providing information on state programs including land loans, home loans, and home improvement loans, as well as information on Texas State Veterans Homes and Cemeteries for veterans and military members in Texas.
The fair helped veterans and military members with access to representatives that can assist with pending claims, health care needs, education and employment benefits, and much more.
