Looking for a fun way to spend some time with your favorite furry friend? Tails will be wagging with excitement for Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation’s Doggy Dips in September.

Bring your dog out to the pool and practice your doggy paddle together. This will be the last big splash of the summer before each pool closes for the season.

Doggy Dip play days will be held on the following Saturdays, from 10 a.m.- 1 p.m.:

September 8: Oso Pool, located at 1109 Bernice Drive
September 15: West Guth Pool, located at 9705 Up River Road
September 22: Greenwood Pool, located at 4305 Greenwood Drive
September 29: T.C. Ayers Pool, located at 926 Coke St.

Dogs swim at their own risk and that of their owners’. Any dog owner wishing to participate must provide proof of distemper, parvo and rabies shots before their dog will be permitted into the pool facility. The leash law will not be in effect, however unruly pups will be asked to leave. All owners are expected to clean up after their dog.

Fee is $6 per dog and one owner. Each additional owner pays $4 per adult, $1.25 per youth. For more information, call (361) 826-1749 or (361) 826-3460.
