Traveling to far-away places is an experience many dream about. But for some students in Corpus Christi, it is a dream that is well within reach.
Once again, high school sophomores and juniors are invited to apply for the 2019 Summer Sister City Exchange Program.
Among the requirements to be accepted in this program is a demonstrated outstanding academic and leadership performance; a good understanding of citizenship and what it means to be an ambassador for Corpus Christi; and a keen interest in learning about the world outside of the United States.
Those who are chosen will spend two or three weeks in one of Corpus Christi’s sister cities (Agen, France; Yokosuka, Japan; Keelung, Taiwan) over the summer with a host student and family. At the end of their stay, they will return with their host student to spend another two or three educational and fun-filled weeks in Corpus Christi.
