City Parks and Rec Department to host annual Doggy Dip

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — The Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department is inviting a dogs and dog owners to to come out for the annual Doggy Dip.

The event will be held on Saturday, August 24, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the H-E-B Pool located at 1520 Shely Street.

According to the city, the pool is a safe no-leash environment where dogs can jump, swim and play in the water and with other dogs.

The city says dogs swim at their own risk and that of their owner’s. Any dog owner wishing to participate must provide proof of Distemper, Parvo, and Rabies shots before their dog will be permitted into the pool facility.

Dogs swim at their own risk and that of their owner’s risk.

Pool admission is $8 per dog and one owner. Additional owners pay $5 per adult, $2 per child.
