A big rain could be coming by Wednesday

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Clouds start rolling in today in advance of a significant rain storm scheduled for Wednesday.

Most of the day will be agreeable today with highs staying in the low 60s. By about midnight tonight, expect light rain will move in from the west.

Most of Wednesday will have a steady showers with an occasional thunder shower late in the day.

Rain total are estimated between half an inch to an inch in most Coastal Bend areas.

This will be a very welcomed event by local farmers who will likely take advantage of the moisture to get a good start to the planting season.

The fron twill blow through on Thursday, providing us with a clear, cooler wind.
