Andy Liscano is the anchor of KRIS 6 10 pm show. He also serves as the Troubleshooter and KRIS’s Kitchen Cops reporter.
While his emphasis is on investigative and Troubleshooter stories, he also reports on city hall, the courts, police, spot news and breaking news.
Born and raised in Chicago, Andy remains a loyal Bears, Bulls, Cubs, and Blackhawks fan!
Andy came to KRIS and KZTV in 2007 and within just 4 months broke the story on the forced resignation of the Director of the city’s Water Department. He has followed that up with several more exclusives!
Before transitioning to news, Andy was an award-winning sportscaster in cities from Miami to Los Angeles. He’s covered the Super Bowl, Summer Olympics, Soccer’s World Cup, MLB, NASCAR, PGA, LPGA, NHL, NBA, NCAA’s March Madness Basketball Tournament, and the NCAA’s Div. 1 Football National Championship.
More than all that, Andy enjoys spending time with family in Texas and Chicago, and traveling with his wife Yolanda. After that, it’s watching his beloved Miami Hurricanes play football.
