CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Abundant Gulf moisture, but weak upper-level forcing, will lead to warm afternoons with overnight fog and very little in the way of rainfall through the work week.
In fact, a series of minor upper-level disturbances deliver only a glancing blow to South Texas over the weekend, inducing isolated showers Friday through early next week.
Meanwhile, temperatures remain a few degrees above normal for this time of year, with highs in the lower 80s and lows in the middle to upper 60s.
A cold front Friday will dip just south of Interstate 10 before coming to a halt and then retreating northward, so no temperature changes are anticipated.
