KRIS 6 Sports has confirmed that Tuloso-Midway head football coach and athletics director Wade Miller is leaving the Warriors.

Miller, who compiled a 12-27 record with no playoff appearances, confirmed to KRIS 6 Sports on Thursday that he has accepted a job in Uvalde.

He signed on to lead the Warriors in 2016.

He told Sports Director Alan Harwell on Thursday night that the job puts him closer to family.

"I am excited for the opportunity to lead the program at Uvalde," he said. "I will miss Tuloso-Midway, but I could not pass up the chance to coach in a town that is close to my wife's family."
