CORPUS CHRISTI – It’s going to be another hot and breezy afternoon here in the Coastal Bend. Look for a mixture of sunshine and clouds with a daytime high around 91 degrees this afternoon. The winds will be blowing out of the southeast at 15 to 20 miles per hours. A stray light shower may be possible in the morning hours. The forecast for tonight calls for partly cloudy skies and mild weather conditions. Expect an overnight low around 77 degrees. We can can expect very similar weather conditions for Memorial Day. Look for a daytime high around 91 degrees. There is still a high risk of rip currents for those heading out to the beach. Use caution when getting into the water.
We will be stuck in this hot and humid weather pattern for much of the week ahead. A few isolated showers will be possible midweek. Daytime highs will continue in the lower 90’s. The overnight low temperatures will be in the upper 70’s.
