Storm systems to our north continue to produce severe weather in the southern Plaines and a lot of wind in the Coastal Bend.

The wind keeps the humidity high and drives our heat index over 100 degrees each afternoon. Temperatures and winds will stay above normal for the rest of this week along with no rainfall expected.

Tonight will be cloudy very warm and sticky with a low of 79.

Wednesday expect variable hazy sunshine windy again and hot with a high of 92 and a heat index to 105.

Wednesday night will be windy very warm and humid with a low near 80.

Thursday expect morning clouds and hazy afternoon sunshine to give way to very windy conditions with gusts near 40 mph and a high of 91.
