CORPUS CHRISTI – It’s been a chilly start to our Sunday here in the Coastal Bend. Many areas have fallen into the upper 40’s this morning. However, this will give way to abundant sunshine and mild temperatures this afternoon. Look for an afternoon high around 70 degrees today. The winds will be blowing out of the northeast at 10 to 15 miles per hour. A Small Craft Advisory has been issued for our offshore waters. The forecast for tonight calls for partly cloudy skies and cool conditions. Expect an overnight low around 51 degrees.
We can expect some pretty seasonal temperatures for much of the week ahead. Daytime highs will be in the upper 60’s to mid 70’s. There is a decent chance for rain on both Tuesday and Thursday. A stronger cold front will move into the area Saturday. This will drop our temperatures again for next weekend.
