CORPUS CHRISTI – We are waking up to some pretty dense fog in many locations across the Coastal Bend this morning. A Dense Fog Advisory has been issued through 8 am. We also had some decent showers overnight with the passage of the latest cold front. Many area right along the coast picked around a quarter to a half inch of rain. However, the clouds and fog will clear out and give way to mostly sunny skies this afternoon. Look for an afternoon high around 75 degrees. The winds will be shifting to the north around 5 to 10 miles per hour. The forecast for this evening calls for mostly clear skies and cooler conditions. Expect an overnight low around 45 degrees. We will see abundant sunshine again on Sunday with a daytime high around 60 degrees.

We will start the workweek with some cloudy and cool weather. The daytime high on Monday will be in the mid 50’s. Increasing moisture will also lead to a few isolated to scattered showers. The best chance for widespread rain will be on Tuesday. We will see a gradual warm up for the latter half of the workweek. Daytime highs will be in the low to mid 70’s on Thursday and Friday.
