CORPUS CHRISTI – It was a pretty nice end to the weekend here in the Coastal Bend. We saw abundant sunshine along with some pretty warm temperatures. Our daytime highs were in the upper 80’s. It was also rather humid and breezy. The forecast for tonight calls for partly cloudy skies with an overnight low around 75 degrees. The winds will be out of the southeast at 5 to 15 miles per hour.

We will see some big changes to our weather pattern for the week ahead. A very strong cold front will roll through in the morning hours. This will likely bring us some showers and thunderstorms. However, it will also turn windy and colder in the afternoon. Temperatures will drop to the lower 50’s by the five o’clock hour. It will remain rather wet and chilly for much of the workweek. Daytime highs will be in the 50’s and 60’s with a chance of rain each day. A gradual warm up is expected as we get closer to next weekend.
