The World Wrestling Entertainment is more than a bunch of oiled-up grapplers who stage matches around the world.

It turns out the WWE as an organization has a heart, and apparently a pretty big one.

A ribbon-cutting was held Thursday at the UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh. It came after a $1 million donation from the WWE, which was represented by a couple of iconic public figures — Chief Branding Officer Stephanie McMahon and her husband, WWE Executive Vice President Paul “Triple H” Levesque.

The gift from the WWE is to establish a family-centered MIBG Therapy Suite at the children’s hospital, which will become the only one of its kind in western Pennsylvania.

The new suite will have the ability to provide care without needing to take the patient out of the room, even if critical care is needed.

It’s a nice gesture by one of the foremost entities in the sports and entertainment business
