Students from schools all throughout the Coastal Bend will come to watch the IceRays play. The team is expecting close to 6,000 total students.

“We’re very excited there’s going to be a lot of kids here it should be really loud it should be exciting,” IceRays Head Coach Ryan Cruthers said.

The game also has big implications on the NAHL South standings. The IceRays currently hold the 4th spot in the division and are just seven points behind the Mudbugs who sit in second place.

The top four teams in each division will make the NAHL playoffs.
