It should be a good one Thursday night when Calallen travels to Alice for our “Thursday Night Football” Game of the Week.
The Coyotes will be gunning to snap a two-game losing streak after suffering a homecoming loss to Somerset and a tough defeat at Southside.
At 2-3, Alice will have to win its final two games to have any chance at making the playoffs. So you know the Coyotes will be ready for Thursday’s 7 p.m. kickoff on the CW.
The Wildcats, meanwhile, are rolling.
They are coming off a 49-6 conquest over Gregory-Portland. And if they win their final two games, they will be crowned district champs.
So there is definitely a lot of stake in this one.
And of course, it’s a rivalry game so anything can happen.
