Chick-fil-a has started testing some spicy chicken strips to possibly serve at their restaurants.
Locations in Phoenix, Arizona; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Waco, Texas; and South Texas have been chosen to test the new menu items; but not Corpus Christi.
Amanda Norris, the executive director of Chick-fil-A’s told Business Insider.“Spicy is certainly a trend, but we don’t think it’s going anywhere… We only see it growing — just looking at just what we sell in our spicy sandwich. So, I think you’re going to see Chick-fil-A do more with spicy.”
Depending on how the item sells in those markets will determine whether or not the product will be available nationwide.
Corpus Christi locations are not offering the spicy item yet.
