A “guard gator” becomes the brains behind a drug operation in Pennsylvania and it all started with a raid at this home in “Chester County” earlier this month.

Police arrested three men after finding heroin and other drugs inside the home.

What they didn’t expect to find was this *three-foot alligator* protecting the goods!

Police seized the gator and nicknamed him “El Chompo” in honor of last week’s conviction of Mexican drug lord “El Chapo.” Neighbors and even the D.A. are surprised by the catch.

Tom Hogan, Chester County District Attorney, said, “Quite frankly as we can tell from these drug dealers the alligator may have been the brains of the operation. When they want to project an image of dangerousness, and that’s to keep other drug dealers or people who might rob them away.”

“El Chompo” was taken to a nearby zoo where he is currently under quarantine. He is said to be doing well despite the sudden move.

The three suspects who were arrested at the home are all facing drug charges.
