Online tip sparks interest in suspected drug operation

An anonymous tip led police to a suspected drug house.

Officers began searching this home on the 4100 blocks of Christie street off of Ayers around 11:30 a.m. Friday.

Investigators said they received a tip from a website called stopdrugscorpuschristi.org and obtained a search warrant.

During the search, investigators found and seized an amount of crack cocaine, methamphetamine, a synthetic cannabinoid, a stolen weapon and an amount of US currency.

In all, police arrested five people.

Police said they arrested, Jesse Rose, 32, Adam Galindo, 46, for having outstanding warrants. Galindo was also charged with manufacture delivery of a controlled substance, possession of the controlled substance.

Investigators also said they arrested Nora Munoz, 43, Veronica Martinez, 41, and Roberto Pena, 24.

Munoz was charged with possession of a controlled substance and manufacturing of a controlled substance.

Martinez was charged for possession of a controlled substance, and theft of a firearm.

Pena was charged with possession of a controlled substance and manufacturing of a controlled substance.
