According to AEP Texas, 1,308 residents and businesses are without power in Port A.
The cause is unknown, but Ken Griffith from AEP Texas said a breaker went out at a substation at about 4:25 pm.
AEP crews are working on fixing it. The power is expected to be restored by 7 pm.
