Sullivan is also known for playing Benny Hammond in the Netflix series “Stranger Things” and as the voice of the GEICO Hump-Day camel.

Following the success of their 2018 show, the organizers of Corpus Christi Comic Con have moved the 2019 show to the American Bank Center in Downtown Corpus Christi.

Featured attractions include Adult and Kids Cosplay contests, live celebrity Q&A panels, “how-to” and workshop type panels, over 100 vendors featuring fun and nerdy merchandise.

Throughout the two-day event, there will also be opportunities to meet featured artists and celebrities from comics, movies and television.

“We are proud that we have built a fun, family-friendly event for our community, and we hope that everyone will come out and experience it. It’s what we set out to do when the show was founded back in 2017 – create a welcoming environment for fans of all ages and genres,” said owners Ryan Romel, Jon Garcia and Daniel Benavides. “We are constantly striving to grow and improve so we can provide the best quality event to Corpus Christi, and we are looking forward to another great year!”

With over 7,000 attendees in 2017 and 2018 each, this year’s event promises to be even bigger.

Other announced celebrity guests include: Dean Cain, Michael Dorn, Maile Flanagan, Gates McFadden, Janet Varney, Dante Basco and Barry Williams, with plenty more announcements to come.

Corpus Christi Comic Con will be held June 29th & 30th. For more information or to purchase tickets and professional photo ops, visit www.corpuschristicomiccon.com.
