A group of Nueces County Park employees found an ATM and a safe submerged in water near the J.F.K. Causeway.
According to police, the employees were cleaning the area when they came across the items.
They immediately contacted police.
Several officers with the Corpus Christi Police Department arrived and contacted Apollo Towing to pull it out.
Officers at the scene say they are not sure how long the ATM and safe have been there or where they’ve come from.
