The weather may be heating up, but the Chick-fil-A’s menu is cooling down.
The popular fast-food restaurant says they are introducing a cool sweet treat called Frosted Key Lime.
Chick-fil-A said the new cool drink is a hand-spun combination of Chick-fil-A’s signature IceDream®, Chick-fil-A Lemonade (or Diet Lemonade) and natural, sugar-free lime flavoring made from a blend of key limes, kaffir limes, and Persian limes.
Frosted Key Lime gets its green color from a mix of nutrient-rich ingredients, including spirulina and turmeric.
Folks who run Chick-fil-A said they tested Frosted Key Lime at participating Austin-area restaurants last fall.
Customers said they love Frosted Key Lime because of the authentic key lime taste, and blend of tartness and sweetness, according to a statement from Chick-fil-A.
So when are you going to see this cool beverage on the menu?
The company says this will be a seasonal drink and it will be on the menu from March 18 until May 25, 2019.
