Administrators with the Flour Bluff Independent School District said they are going to assist students and families who are affected by the partial government shutdown.

In a statement put up on the school district’s website, the district is encouraging any of their families who need assistance to reach out and take advantage of available resources.

Relief listed included signup for a free and reduced lunch program, job opportunities, and counseling services.

The statement read, “The stress of uncertainty can affect an entire family. Parents are encouraged to reach out to their student’s teachers, campus administrators and/or the campus counselors for support.”
