Town and Country shopping center hosts free event

Town and Country shopping center is hosting their 5th Annual Classic Christmas Open House on Friday, Dec. 7 from 3 p.m. – 8 p.m.

The event will include free live entertainment with musical performances featuring The Holiday Cheer Christmas Band and performance artist, Jason Rodriguez. Rodriguez’s paintings will be raffled off with all proceeds benefiting the New Life Refuge Ministries.

Visitors are encouraged to bring items for pets for Emma’s Critter Christmas, which is a 7-year-old’s Christmas wish to provide blankets, toys, food and any other items for local animal shelters. An extra ticket for the prize drawings will be given with each pet item received.

Items for pets may be dropped off at Susann’s Custom Jewelers.

There will be several giveaways for adults and kids and also Christmas specials at participating businesses.

Over $15,000 worth of prizes have been given out in the last four years.
