The home improvement store located on Port has their hurricane train on display for customers so they can get ready this season.
The Coastal Bend is no stranger hurricanes, many folks have seen what kind of damage a hurricane can leave behind.
Destruction can affect businesses, homes, schools and more.
Assistant store manager Emilio Elizondo says the supplies on the train can be used for any major storm.
“My advisory is that I was here for Hurricane Harvey, I was at this Home Depot, it got really really busy and it just showed a lot of people were unprepared so it doesn’t hurt to have some of these items like I said these items can be used for any major storm that comes to the Coastal Bend,” says Elizondo.
Elizondo has been with The Home Depot for eight years. He says now that hurricane season has started, it’s best to stay prepared and not wait till the last minute.
