If you have a new puppy that may need some training, P.A.A.C may have a class for you. P.A.A.C or People Assisting Animal Control, is offering a four-week dog obedience training course for $50.

The course will meet Monday’s beginning at 6:30 pm. and are geared towards puppies 14 months and younger.

P.A.A.C trainer Cindy Wainakainen says this course is perfect for parents who may get stressed with a dog that chews too much, jumps a lot, or just won’t listen. She says during this four-week course dogs will learn how to sit, stay, lay down, wait at the door, work on leash training as well as other problems some owners may have.

Cindy says clicker training and positive reinforcement is the training used. This way owners will reward their dogs for doing something right instead of punishing for something wrong.

Dog owners will need to bring a leash, treats, and a harness, if available.
