Schlitterbahn water parks across Texas, including the park’s facility in Corpus Christi, will offer free admission to their Texas parks to military and first responders during their fourth annual American Heroes Week later this month.

It will kick off on Memorial Day, May 27, and continue through June 2.

Both active duty and retired military members, as well as firefighters, police and EMT, are eligible at the company’s water parks across Texas. Locations include water parks in Corpus Christi, New Braunfels, Galveston and South Padre Island.

Tickets for spouses and dependent children are available for 40 percent off the gate price. Get more info with the American Heroes FAQ.

On the day of your visit, simply show your military ID or proof of employment at the park entrance to receive a complimentary wristband valid for admission on that day. The eligible member of the military may purchase tickets for their spouses and dependents for 40% off at the park entrance on the day of their visit.

The company also is allowing eligible members of the military, police, firefighters, and EMTs to save 20 percent off room rates at Schlitterbahn Resorts in New Braunfels, South Padre Island and Corpus Christi. Details vary by resort.

Military ID’s eligible for the free tickes include active duty, retiree, veteran, reservists and Department of Defense employees.

Police, firefighters and EMTs should bring proof of employment such as badge, pay stub or employee ID.
