Mint and dark chocolate.

It goes together like peanut butter and jelly.

If you are a mint chocophile, you are in luck. The iconic flavor pairing soon will be coming to Kit Kats in the United States.

Hershey has announced it will be releasing a Kit Kat Duos Mint + Dark Chocolate, according to the Elite Daily. It looks like it could be a tasty match for candy fans everywhere.

The new product will be marketed nationally in December. It is described by Hershey’s as featuring “a mint creme on top and dark chocolate on the bottom, all surrounding light and crispy wafers.

And some consumers might get even luckier if they are in one of the areas where Hershey’s will test-market the product before the national release.

It will be the first new Kit-Kat flavor introduced in almost a decade.

Thisisinsider.com reports that the mint-flavored Kit-Kat has been sold in Japan for years.

Hershey’s has been aggressive as it attempts to spread the Kit-Kat brand. Millennial-pink Kit Kats were availabe in the United States last year. A Red Velvet variety was introduced on Valentine’s Day.

And it’s even spread beyond simple candy bars. The brand launched Kit Kat Drumstick ice cream bars earlier this year.

What could be next?

And what kind would you want if you could choose your own new Kit-Kat flavor?
