West Oso boys’ basketball coach Richard Jackson earned honors this season as the District 31 Class 4A coach of the year.
District coaches made their all-district selections after the season ended. Other honorees included Sinton junior Marcus Villarreal as MVP, senior Craig Clemons of West Oso as defensive MVP, Kingsville senior Jacob Villarreal as offensive MVP, Ingleside freshman Antwaan Gross as newcomer of the year and West Oso junior Dominique Baker was sixth man of the year.
