Your options for late-night munchies are about to get much spicier.

And frankly, much more delicious.

Taco Bell will return its smokin’ Steak Rattlesnake Fries next week across the country, according to several national food blogs.

The website thrillist.com reports that the introduction of the new product is a natural after Taco Bell’s long-awaited return of Nacho Fries last month at their stores across America has become an early hit.

But their newest creation seems to also have a lot of promise of deliciousness. It’s their take on loaded nachos made with fries rather than tortilla chips. Or a spiced-up version of cheese fries that is a messy but glorious creation.

The limited-time menu will feature a bed of crispy, seasoned potatoes topped with steak, nacho cheese sauce, a creamy jalapeno sauce topped by pickled jalapeno slices. It was first tested at several Taco Bell locations last summer in Columbus, Ohio, according to chewboom.com.

The spicy side was a big hit, providing all of us the chance to sample the goodness of a sizzling treat and see if we can handle the piquant heat.

Be warned that the Steak Rattlesnake Fries come with a notable bite.

The loaded fries will be served two different ways. You can buy them in a container, or also wrapped in a burrito. Both will cost $2.99.

And let us be the first to praise whoever came up with the idea of wrapping these spicy these delectable ingredients in a flour tortilla. Maybe they should be up for sainthood or the Nobel Snack Prize.

These rattlesnake fries will be coming to all Taco Bell locations on Feb. 28.

But they won’t be around for long, so be sure to grab for the heat when you have a chance.
