February is recognized as National Heart Month, and the CHRISTUS Spohn Cardiac Team is working to help the community to understand the importance of caring for that which is vital to life.

On Saturday, nurses and doctors will be available to consult with anyone who stops by center court at La Palmera Mall from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., as they offer free blood pressure screenings and heart health tips.
The Cardiac Team will also have the Mega Heart on hand, a large inflatable heart that visitors can walk through and learn more about how our hearts work and what it takes to keep it healthy.
Stop by the mall Saturday and learn about the signs and symptoms of a heart attack and what you can do to take control of your heart health.
