UPDATE (1:11 a.m. August 18, 2018): Corpus Christi Police tells KRIS-6 that they are looking for two suspects involved in the shooting near North Beach. They have impounded a vehicle they believe belongs to one of them.
Police also say there is one possible suspect in the Mary Street shooting. They are not saying whether these incidents are related.
Corpus Christi Police are staying busy Friday night as they investigate two separate shooting scenes with possible multiple victims.
The first call came in just before 11 p.m. for a shooting on the 2900 block of Mary Street. Officers have closed several blocks along Mary Street near Port Avenue. Three victims were taken to the hospital.
The second shooting call came in a few minutes later. Police rushed to a possible victim of a shooting just past North Beach going towards Portland.
