October is National Arts & Humanities month, and the art community of Port Aransas is ready to celebrate!
Saturday afternoon from 1 to 6 p.m., the Port Aransas Art Center (104 N. Alister Street) will sponsor the 12th Annual PA Artabout.
Everyone is invited to stop by any of the 17 galleries, studios and design shops who will be opening their doors to offer unique art and refreshments for the one day event.

Then on Monday, Oct. 15, the 34th Annual Songwriters Showcase will once hold forth in what is a south Texas tradition.
A $5 gate fee benefits the Port Aransas Art Center.
