Pet of the Week: Buster

Corpus Christi Animal Care Services reminds everyone that they have many dogs and cats currently available for adoption, including our Pet of the Week.

Buster is neutered, microchipped and ready for his new family. This loveable 3-year-old American Staff mix has grown to his full size and weight, and would likely make the perfect addition to any family looking to add a pet. The only condition? Make sure you plan for lots of hugs and belly rubs to be a consistent part of his care!

CCACS is located at 2626 Holly Road and is open from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. each afternoon, including weekends. To reach them by phone, call (361) 826-4630. Although it is not required, you are allowed to bring other pets with you on your visit to make sure they will be compatible with whichever animal you may want to take home.

Be sure to visit the CCACS Facebook page:

You can also go to There you will find pictures and information on all of the animals who are waiting to be adopted from CCACS.
