Corpus Christi Animal Care Services is hoping that if you decide to add a pet to your family, you will consider adoption. A good candidate might even be our Pet of the Week!

His name is Jeff and he is about 11 months old. Jeff was brought in as a stray and is listed as a Pointer/Staffordshire mix. Whatever his ancestry, most would agree that Jeff is a beautiful boy! On top of that, his friendly nature and outgoing personality make him a good bet to get along well with any other pets that may already be living in the home.

Whoever adopts Jeff should keep in mind that even though he is a good-sized dog, he still has a whole lot of puppy in him and will need to be able to release some of that energy each day.

Once chosen for adoption, Jeff will be neutered and microchipped and brought up-to-date on all of her shots. It is all included in the $25 CCACS adoption fee.

Anyone interested in adopting any of the animals being cared for by CCACS should go by 2626 Holly Road any afternoon from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (including weekends). You may also call (361) 826-4630.

Although it is not required, you are allowed to bring other pets with you on your visit to make sure they will get along with whichever animal you may want to take home.

Be sure to visit the CCACS Facebook page: www.facebook.com/corpuschristianimalcareservices.

You can also go to www.PetHarbor.com where you will find pictures and information on all of the animals who are brought to CCACS.
