Remember Petey, the loyal dog from the old Our Gang/Little Rascals comedies? If so, then you may notice a remarkable resemblance between him and our Corpus Christi Animal Care Services Pet of the Week.
The differences? Well, to begin with, her name is Dulce. The end with, she is not a he. Everything in between is for you to decide!
Dulce is an American Pit Bull mix who is about a year-and-a-half old. Her extremely friendly nature makes her hard to resist when she moves in to be petted — which she will certainly do to anyone who stands still long enough.
Once chosen for adoption, Dulce will be neutered and microchipped and brought up-to-date on all of her shots. It is all included in the $25 CCACS adoption fee.
Anyone interested in adopting any of the animals being cared for by CCACS should go by 2626 Holly Road any afternoon from 1:00 to 5:30 PM (including weekends). You may also call (361) 826-4630.
Although it is not required, you are allowed to bring other pets with you on your visit to make sure they will get along with whichever animal you may want to take home.
