Barefoot Mardi Gras is coming to North Padre Island this weekend. The two-day party kicks off with the Barefoot Mardi Gras Parade at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Padre Balli Park. Saturday night, adults can enjoy the Barefoot King and Queen’s Ball with live, New Orleans style music. Festivities begin at 7:30 p.m. Then after a night of Big Easy revelry, the celebration continues at 9 a.m. on Sunday with brunch at the Port Royal Ocean Resort and Conference Center.
The Harbor Bridge bridge walk also returns this weekend. Whether you’re a regular attendee or a first timer, don’t miss this opportunity to walk across Corpus Christi’s iconic bridge while it’s still there. The walk starts at Heritage Park at 8 a.m. on Sunday.
