If you would like to become a pet owner but are unsure about having a puppy at your place, then our Corpus Christi Animal Care Services Pet of the Week may be the one you are looking for!

June is a calm and extremely loveable 3-year-old, who would instantly give you the opportunity to adopt without having to train a dog through the puppy phase.

She appears to have a bit of hound in her, and as anyone can tell by looking at her, June wears a beautiful golden coat.

Anyone interested in adopting June or any of the animals being cared for by CCACS should go by from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday at 2626 Holly Road.

Although it is not required, you are allowed to bring other pets with you on your visit to make sure they will get along with whichever animal you may want to take home.

Coming up on March 2, CCACS is hosting a volunteer appreciation luncheon. They will also provide information on what is required to become a volunteer. If you would like to attend, all they ask is that you RSVP now by calling (361) 826-4630.

Be sure to visit the CCACS Facebook page: www.facebook.com/corpuschristianimalcareservices.

You can also go to www.PetHarbor.com where you will find pictures and information on all of the animals who are brought to CCACS.
