Since 1990, Solid Rock Church has served the community from their 3035 Ayers St. location. For the last decade, the church has hosted a Christmas Parade & Festival, and they are doing it again this Sunday.
Everyone is invited to gather at 6 p.m. to watch the parade. You are encouraged to bring flashlights, glow sticks, Santa hats, reindeer antlers, light-up necklaces and anything else that will add to the excitement of the evening!
Following the parade at 7 p.m., a festival will begin, where guests will find FREE tamales, hot chocolate, pan de polvo, lemonade and hot chocolate.
The kids are sure to enjoy the free train rides, pony rides, inflatables and petting zoo.
Everything at the Christmas Parade & Festival is to benefit Solid Rock Church’s Love & Happiness Toy Drive. Organizers are hoping that those who can will bring a new, unwrapped toy, to be used to help local families provide gifts for their children during the holiday season.
