CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — There was a pretty large house fire on the city's westside this afternoon.
And firefighters were hosing down more than just the flames.
These firefighters needed to take cooling off breaks while fighting the fire on Nogales Street.
The intense heat and the size of the fire also required extra manpower so a second alarm was pulled.
The fire started just before 3 p.m. in the 2600 block of Nogales Street, which is just a few blocks from the H-E-B at Port and Tarlton.
The house is being renovated so it's vacant.
No word on a cause yet, but this is the second time there's been a fire in the house.
