CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — Rockport Volunteer Fire Department Chief Aaron Guerrero said fire crews responded to a structure fire early Tuesday morning caused a "total loss" of a mobile home.
Guerrero said the department was dispatched to the scene at the 4200 block of Business 35 South at 4 a.m. for a structure fire.
The RVFD arrived on-scene at the Salt Water Flats RV Resort and Cabins, and found an RV was fully engulfed in flames.
Officials said they learned the homeowner had exited the RV prior to fire, and no one was hurt as a result of the fire.
Guerrero said the homeowners told officials they had an electrical issue in the home prior to the fire.
