MATHIS, Texas — The body of a 65-year old Oklahoma man was found Sunday afternoon after a three day search at Lake Corpus Christi.
Thursday afternoon, the man went fishing in his boat. Later that evening, friends and neighbors noticed he hadn’t returned, and they found his boat empty. Texas Parks & Wildlife along with the San Patricio Sheriff’s Office were notified, and a search commenced.
Sheriff Oscar Rivera tells KRIS 6 News that after three days of searching, P&W Game Wardens reached out to confirm that the man’s body had been found near Bucks Camp Rd.
