A Calallen family got quite a scare this morning when their air conditioning unit caught fire.
According to the Corpus Christi Fire Department, the fire broke out in the 3600 block of Castle River Drive at about 8 a.m.
The fire spread quickly, but CCFD says crews were able to extinguish it quickly.
No one in the home was injured.
