PORTLAND, Texas — Firefighters with the Portland and Corpus Christi fire departments battled a massive house fire on Tuesday evening.
CCFD was called to help the Portland Fire Department just after 7:15 p.m. at a home in the 100 block of Grace Drive.
When Corpus Christi firefighters arrived around 7:30 pm, the home was still on fire.
Portland police said the two people who were in the two-story house made it out unscathed.
